SpaceChem Anniversary Sale!

It’s been a little over two years since we released SpaceChem. In that time, a lot has changed; thanks to everyone who supported us, Zachtronics Industries is now a proper full-time game studio! As a way of saying thanks, we’re putting everything SpaceChem-related on sale that we can – including things that, up until now, were not even purchasable!

Thanks to the magic of Kickstarter, we did a small run of a limited edition of SpaceChem. In addition to being physically manufactured and signed, it includes the 63 Corvi DLC, a miniature periodic table, and an exciting “paper edition” of SpaceChem that reimagines the game as a Sudoku-like pencil and paper puzzle game. Since the Kickstarter these have been completely unavailable for sale, but they are now available until the end of January!

SpaceChem: Limited Edition (USA shipping) – $25
SpaceChem: Limited Edition (international shipping) – $30

If you or someone you want to inflict SpaceChem on has somehow managed not to purchase a digital copy of SpaceChem by now, we’re running a 70% off sale on our own store until the end of the month as well. As if there was a need to sweeten the deal, copies purchased through the Zachtronics Industries store can also be activated on Steam!

SpaceChem (includes Steam activation) – $3 (70% OFF!)

Did you know that SpaceChem is also available for iPad and Android tablets? Typically $6, we’re slashing the price by 50% until the end of the month. Play SpaceChem EVERYWHERE!

SpaceChem Mobile for iPad – $3 (50% OFF!)
SpaceChem Mobile for Android (Google Play) – $3 (50% OFF!)
SpaceChem Mobile for Android (Amazon) – $3 (50% OFF!)

Finally, we’re also putting our SpaceChem shirts on sale until the end of the month. We’ve marked them down to cost, so they couldn’t possibly be any cheaper!

SpaceChem Teeshirts – $11 to $19 (10-25% OFF!)

Here’s to another two years of profitable game creation!

I Just bought a shirt for both me and my hubby. I’m contemplating buying a Limited Edition SpaceChem set. . . but don’t have enough time to play the one I already have!

If you could make a MULTIplayer version, I would totally play with my husband =) That’d be worth $25 or more, easily. . .

    Great success, yes!

Finally gifted a copy to my best man. Hopefully he’s better at this game than I am. :D

  3. Ebi January 9, 2013 10:20 am

Oh yes! That suggestion from Briana is very good. A multiplayer game, playable via LAN !(And maybe internet additionally, but it’s not so important).
Many people have to decide to do something with the family, the friends, the husband/wife, or to be egoistic an play alone. Intelligent multiplayer games, which aren’t epic but enjoyable to play for one or three hours, are very rare.
It needn’t to be a multiplayer version of SpaceChem (I even can’t imagine how that could look) but keep it in mind, when you’re developing one of your next games. The market is dried out.

Thank you for the notification! Had been waiting for that good news!
I will place a order, of course!

It still shows up on the amazon app store as being $5.99. Is the sale over?

  6. Zach January 11, 2013 9:51 pm

@JP: No, the sale runs until the end of the month. I don’t know why Amazon hasn’t updated the price yet, but I’ll look into it.

  7. JP January 12, 2013 12:07 am

    @Zach: It’s $2.99 now on Amazon. Thanks!

  8. Jonathan February 28, 2013 6:25 pm

Is there anyway to sign up for a mailing list for when (if?) the next batch of physical copies will be made?

  9. Zach March 4, 2013 5:56 pm

@Jonathan: Sign up for our mailing list here:!forum/zachtronics-industries-broadcast

  10. Dainathon August 18, 2013 9:30 pm

Is there anyway you can get the limited edition still or anytime in the future?

  11. Zach August 20, 2013 4:41 am

@Dainathon: We’ve got a few copies we’re selling at PAX Prime this year, but if you’re not going you can send me an email ( and I’ll see what we can arrange.
